Get Ready to Swim!

It's almost time to dive in!
This year Travis Barton will be re-joining the team this year, but as Head Coach. Jess Engel, Greta Grabow and Mason Wollenzier will be joining the team as Assistant Coaches! We are thankful to have them and excited to have them on-deck this season!
Some Notes-
Tryouts for new swimmers will be held on May 3rd from 5-7pm. We look forward to seeing our newest swimmers!! Swimmers returning to the team are not required to come for a swim test.
Practices will begin on Wednesday, May 4. Our practice schedule will look slightly different to start off the year but is subject to change as our swimmers progress in skill and comfortability in the water (and as it gets warmer!). Coaches may also make changes based on skill.
White Group Group A (Ages 5-6) 4:15pm - 4:45pm
White Group Group B (Age 7) 4:45pm - 5:15pm
Blue Group (Ages 8-10) 5:15pm - 6:00pm
Gold Group (Ages 11-18) 6:00pm - 7:00pm
For those who have not paid their registration fee - please bring payment to tryouts/first day of practice. Fees are due before we can let your swimmer in the water. Checks can be made out to Stone Mountain Swim Team.
For your convenience, Swim Freak will be at the Clubhouse from 4-6pm on Friday, May 6 for a Suit Fitting. Please come a little early to practice that day--Swimmers must be dry in order to try on suits. Team suits will be available for purchase. They take Cash & Credit Cards only.
The Scorekeeper position is still available if you or someone you know would like to volunteer! The first Scorekeepers' training clinic is being held on April 30. Also, if like to serve in an Officials position (e.g. Stroke Judge, Starter or Ref) this season please let us know! Required training clinics for Officials are coming up soon on May 7 and 14th!
