Thank you parents, for all your help. We hope to run an even smoother meet this coming Monday. Please register your athlete and sign up for jobs. Those who did not volunteer at the first meet, plan to volunteer at this meet. We are in need of timers and ready bench parents especially.

SIDE NOTE: 

If there is anyone interested in helping with scorekeeping, please contact us! Beth Beaty, who had been our score keeper for 15 years or so is willing to drive down from LBJ Lake and help for the remaining meets, but she will need help. There is a training meeting for new scorekeepers this Saturday from 2-4pm. Melissa and I plan to attend. So, dear swim families- if any of you would be willing to take on score keeping and help Beth, please reach out to me via email ([email protected]). Scorekeeping involves checking the time sheets against the dolphin results and entering DQ's, etc. We have our score keeper sit in the nice, air-conditioned clubhouse and offer them all the concessions they desire. The downside is that it's a technical job and requires training and attention to details and not being out on the deck during the meet.

p.s. if any of the swimmers in the 9:10am or after practices want a little more swim instruction, Coach Travis is offering stroke technique lessons- $15 per 30 min lesson, $60 for the week. He has a slot open at 8:30 this week for 2 swimmers. Also, next week at 8am and 8:30am.
